Markos is an accomplished Senior Brand Manager being the custodian of the Birds Eye Chicken Pieces portfolio worth £80m RSV. In his three years at Birds Eye he has led Strategic Innovation, award winning 360-degree communications campaigns and complex commercial projects. His passion and relentlessness accompanied by the ability to combine creativity with analytical thinking have led to two consecutive years of double digit growth in his portfolio above and beyond annual targets. His success is reflected from internal promotions within the company as well as recently being named “UK Top New Talent of 2018” by the Grocer magazine. His most recent success is the launch of the new Birds Eye Chicken Shop range that is accompanied by a multimillion support plan and is the number one NPD growth opportunity for the total Nomad Foods Europe Group in 2019.
He started his career journey in Muller Dairy UK where he led commercial success on iconic products such as Muller Corner and Cadbury chilled desserts with his most notable success being the full packaging, recipe and communications relaunch of Fruit and Crunch Corner in 2015.
Professional success was preceded by strong academic success where Markos managed to gain consecutive distinctions in his Bachelor’ s degree at the University of Piraeus in Business Management as well as his Master’s degree at Warwick Business School in Marketing and Strategy.
He has lived in England, Greece and Cyprus and enjoys travelling the world, playing basketball and Latin American dancing.
