Smriti Khanna, Electrolux UK & Ireland – Senior Consumer Marketing Manager

Smriti is a brand strategist and an internal communications expert, with a diverse background, ranging from creating employee engagement and communication plans, to developing target consumer strategies to conceptualizing PR strategies for MNC clients. She has been trusted with the end to end development and delivery of secret and business critical projects in global matrix organizations and, have the proven ability to engage with and influence at all levels of an organization, including C-suite stakeholders.

Currently, Smriti leads the consumer marketing efforts at Electrolux UK & Ireland as the Senior Consumer Marketing Manager. Her role includes developing local brand strategy, including the national promotions strategy and calendar, managing consumer marketing campaigns and brand engagement across both the markets as well as determining the local PR strategy. Prior to Electrolux, Smriti was leading the Global Consumer Targeting Strategy for Windows Phones at Microsoft, where she was responsible for defining the core consumer strategy and implementing across markets and product tiers. Prior to this, Smriti was the Global Brand Strategy Manager at Nokia, where she was responsible for managing the overall Nokia-Microsoft brand integration as well as had the very exciting opportunity to work on Nokia’s brand led turnaround efforts, contributing to the development of a brand purpose and vision as well as leading internal brand engagement efforts.

Smriti is a global citizen, and has lived, studied and worked in New Delhi, the Bay Area, France, Singapore, New York and London. She was also one of the youngest candidates in the class of 2008 at INSEAD.
