Gina Hood, Senior Account Director – Snap London

With her love of entrepreneurial environments and challenger brands, Gina is in her element as Senior Account Director at start-up creative agency Snap London. Gina has worked with founding clients Vitality and Purplebricks amongst others, delivering growth for both brands and agency, while balancing this with the pitches that are vital for a young venture. Responsible for the account management team’s development, Gina has created and launched the agency’s training and career platform, as well as their work experience programme.

Before Snap London, Gina spent her formative years at Karmarama where she ran multiple integrated campaigns across brands such as Plusnet, Clydesdale & Yorkshire Bank, Unibet, Ferrero, CoppaFeel! and Age UK. Outside of her account work, she was actively involved in the wider company culture, establishing the agency netball team, setting up a TED-style initiative featured in the FT, and leading the graduate recruitment scheme. Before this, Gina started her career as a Grad at Publicis London after a PPE degree at Oxford, cutting her teeth on global brands such as Pernod Ricard and P&G.

Gina is passionate about creating positive change in advertising, leading numerous initiatives and being recognised as one of Campaign’s Top 10 Trailblazers, as well as receiving a WACL Future Leaders Award. She works to support women’s progression to leadership positions via the FUTURES Network, and has pushed the industry agenda on gender equality as 2018 President of Bloom UK, and as a speaker and published writer. She strongly believes in the importance of nurturing talent via mentoring, and has launched a platform to help young people get into advertising. In her spare time, she works as a commissioned painter and has recently completed her first half-marathon.
