After 23 years client side in senior Marketing and Business Unit roles in Northern Europe and South East Asia, Rick left the corporate world to start a portfolio career in Summer 2022. Since then he joined the Kinetic Consulting network and has supported a number of clients globally with Commercial Strategy/Transformation (including supporting a number of Marketing Academy Fellows!) and is advisor to a startup advertising agency in Norway.

The majority of his corporate career was spent with Heineken and Mondelez. At Heineken he led the integration of Heineken’s brands following the acquisition of Scottish & Newcastle and subsequently the integration of Cervecería Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma. At Mondelez he led the Seasonal Chocolate business, Cadbury Dairy Milk brand in UK&I before leading the acceleration of the Biscuits Category in Northern Europe and finally moving to lead the development of the Biscuits Category across South East Asia based in Malaysia.

Before returning to the UK, Rick took up the role of CMO and Head of International at TINE Group, in Norway. TINE, the Norwegian food manufacturer with brands present in every meal occasion in every Norwegian household every day. After moving to Norway to join TINE in 2019 Rick also took up the roles of Chairman of Norseland Ltd (UK) and Wernersson Ost AS (SW), both speciality cheese distributors.

Outside of work Rick was awarded a Director’s Scholarship by Said Business School (Oxford University) and completed the Executive MBA programme in 2022 and is married with three sports mad children based in the South of England.
