Developed in partnership with McKinsey & Co and sponsored by British Airways and ISBA the programme has been designed to accelerate marketing leaders onto Boards and ultimately into CEO roles. The Fellowship Programme kicks off with a residential at McKinsey’s Alpine University in Austria and will continue throughout the year with mentoring from some of the UK’s most successful CEO’s, Chairmen and executive board members and fellows will be supported by programme of coaching led by Wisdom 8. They’ll also attend board level Masterclasses covering all elements of Board stewardship such as corporate finance, organisational development and leading high performance boards. A bespoke masterclass on business law and governance will be delivered by Slaughter & May. We’d like to thank Bioss and the executives of Norman Broadbent, Heidrick & Struggles, Korn Ferry, Egon Zehnder, Spencer Stuart and Grace Blue for their support during the selection process.

The Scholarship – What’s going on!

It’s been a busy few months for  the 2013 Scholars So far between them they have attended over 125 mentoring sessions enjoyed lunch at the board tables of 3 CEO’s, and enjoyed bespoke learning days provided by Brand Learning, Google, eatbigfish (http://eatbigfish.com/) and The Living Leader.

During their 2nd boot camp at Moor Hall they heard from CEO’s, Entrepreneurs, Olympic medal winners and leaders from the world of agency’s and business.  Keep an eye on our social media over the next few weeks to hear some of the Scholars take outs from the learning’s.

We’ll be opening up nominations for the 2014 Scholarship very soon, so keep an eye on our website and twitter for the November launch

Go Think Big – Telefonica’s Go Think Big is an amazing organisation aimed at helping young people get a foot on the career ladder. The Marketing Academy is helping provide marketing learning opportunities for young people and if your company can help by providing learning sessions or work experience please check them out here.
