Mark is the Head of Marketing at amaysim, Australia’s fourth largest mobile provider with over one million customers. He is a commercially focused marketing leader with a passion for building brands through advertising, channel management, customer experience and proposition development. Mark has over a decade of experience working across a diverse range of industries including Telco, Energy and Financial Services in both Australia and the UK.
In his current role he is responsible for customer acquisition, integrated marketing campaigns and all media channels across the Group covering both Mobile and Energy services.
Prior to this, Mark was the CMO of Mojo Power, an innovative start-up Australian electricity retailer that offered a flat subscription for customers to unlock lower wholesale rates. He built a team from scratch, established a new brand and customer proposition and then launched the business into the NSW and QLD markets.
Throughout his career he has adopted a data driven approach to marketing, learning through leveraging data, analysis, insights and fast iteration. This has allowed him to deliver strong revenue growth across businesses from listed corporations to start-ups. He has a track record of recruiting and developing talent and leading high-performance teams.
Originally from Scotland, he has called Australia home for 12 years. Married with two young children, he doesn’t have much free time, but in the summer you’ll (hopefully) find him at the beach with his family.
