Lisa is Chief Marketing Officer at Tyro and represents Marketing in Tyro’s Executive Committee. Tyro is Australia’s fast-growing and fifth largest merchant acquirer behind the big four banks by the number of EFTPOS machines in the market and listed on the ASX in December 2019 following an initial public offering (IPO). Lisa leads a team of 14 and oversees Tyro’s marketing with a focus on building brand value, driving customer growth and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes for Tyro’s partners. In 2019, Lisa launched Tyro’s first rebrand since 2007, with the tagline ‘Better business banking’ reflecting Tyro’s expansion beyond strictly payments to banking and lending products in recent years.
Backed by a Master of Business in International Marketing, Lisa has more than 15 years’ experience client and agency-side spanning both B2C and B2B marketing, covering the full spectrum of marketing channels. Prior to Tyro, Lisa specialised in financial services, automotive and travel, and was involved in the rebrand to revive the iconic ‘We’ll save you’ tagline for Aussie Home Loans, as well as new model launches for Hyundai and the rebrand for CMC Markets in Australia.
Mentoring people to help them achieve their goals both professionally and personally is Lisa’s passion. She is also well-known for her high level of motivation and focus on team engagement.
In her spare time, Lisa runs her own responsible travel NFP, 10 Pieces, which encourages travellers to pick up 10 pieces of litter, partnering with global adventure travel companies, including Founding Partner, World Expeditions. Lisa was named a ‘Hero of Travel for 2018’ for the initiative and her work by The Sydney Morning Herald. Lisa is also an avid traveller, having visited 110+ countries, speaks fluent French, and is a bit of an adventurer enjoying rock climbing, ice climbing, caving, diving and hiking.
