What People Say about The Marketing Academy...
Our Australia Scholarship program is sponsored by:
Don't just take our word for it. This is what our community around the world have said about our programs...
The cliche “a life changing opportunity” is overused and often with little authenticity in business. Not when it comes to The Marketing Academy which exceeds the statement by some mileage. Be a part of it or you’ll never see just how amazing you can be.
The first thing I was delighted by, when day one of The Marketing Academy commenced, was the extremely high calibre of speakers for the bootcamp. This was quickly followed by the realisation that the other 29 Scholars were some of the most talented, ambitious and nice yet ego-less peers that I had met in our industry. The nine-month programme has given me unparalleled access to and inspiration from the top talent of our industry, from TMA scholars and speakers, to mentors and coaches. The scholars’ personal and professional growth has been significant, with many outcomes shared at our final bootcamp, including promotions, payrises, increased gravitas, better industry profiles and personal milestones reached. I can’t recommend this programme highly enough, it lifts the emotional intelligence and cohesiveness of the whole industry.
I feel truly overwhelmed to have been chosen to be part of such an exceptional scholarship. I cannot say thank you enough to Sherilyn and The Marketing Academy team, the mentors and, of course, my fellow scholars for making this entire experience phenomenal. I’ve been truly inspired by you all and I know that I’m already a better leader and, hopefully (!), a better person because of it.
The Marketing Academy’s mission is to turn the marketing talent of today into the leaders of tomorrow, and that’s exactly what it does. Whilst Ronseal in its mission, it leaves you with a purpose that is Adidas, a motivation that is Nike, and an ability to think like Apple. It’s the perfect programme to build your own brand that will help you progress in both your professional and personal life.
These are 3 big benefits I’m taking away from the Marketing Academy. It’s:
1. Ignited my passion to do more: to be the best leader I can be in all aspects of my life, and encourage others to do the same
2. Elevated my perceptiveness: so I’m now less afraid to try new approaches to situations and challenges
3. And best of all, provided me with a whole new support network through my fellow scholars: whose energy is totally infectious, and with whom I’ve created a special bond, like that of a family
If you’re curious and motivated to charge yourself up and grow into the best person you can be, then you will absolutely love the journey the scholarship takes you on. It’s provided a different way of thinking that will stay with me, always.
Having lived and worked in Australia for 8 years, I’m incredibly excited about the prospect of The Marketing Academy arriving there. It has been a privilege for me to be involved in the Academy and I wouldn’t hesitate in nominating my peers and team members to join the program.
The program was the ultimate elixir – waking me up from career-malaise and time fatigue, allowing me to become deeply aware of who I am at my core, and how I want to show up in the world.
The Marketing Academy has been an amazing experience. To learn from people that have been there and developed in the industry is honestly priceless. In no other network or environment have I been in such a position that has enabled me to grow and learn on both a personal and professional level. It is like nothing I’ve done before and if you’re looking to develop yourself and your career I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
It’s so much more than marketing. ‘Leadership Academy for Life where you make Lifelong Friends’ is probably more like it, although admittedly not as catchy.
The Marketing Academy is a phenomenal opportunity to learn direct from leaders whilst also working on your own development through career coaching and mentoring for a selected charity. This is a money-can’t-buy experience and I cannot recommend it highly enough – I feel very lucky to have had this experience!
I’m incredibly proud to be involved with the Scholarship Programme. It brings talented individuals together in a powerful blend of training, mentoring and coaching which is completely free of charge. The benefits to mentors and mentees alike are mutually rewarding. The programme has status, momentum and real influence now.
The Marketing Academy is an exciting and long needed investment to increase the resource pool of new Marketeers.
The Marketing Academy gave me the tools, inspiration, and space to develop my personal views on leadership, at a critical time in my career and life.
The Marketing Academy Fellowship is a great programme – think of it as the best bits of an MBA.
It’s hard work, great fun and now it’s up to us Alumni to make history. Excellent programme – hope we can live up to it!

I applied looking for a network, some leadership frameworks and coaching and am leaving with SO much more – a set of lifelong friends, personal growth, clarity on my purpose and optimism for the future.Who knew so much was possible in just 7 months!
It is a real privilege to have been a Marketing Academy Scholar. It is such a special experience through which I’ve had the chance to meet, learn and be inspired by so many wonderful people.
A real luxury to have the opportunity to step out of the day to day job to meet some inspirational people and learn how to hone my personal leadership style.
The five days we were together as a group was so much more then I could ever have imagined, in my head I knew I would learn something, but I never thought that it would change my outlook so dramatically. I described it to someone over the weekend as a sliding door moment from which point things changed both personally and at work.
