The Marketing Academy announce the ‘Class of 2015’

30 emerging leaders have been selected for the 2015 Scholarship Programme from over 350 nominations

The free year long leadership programme for talented brand and agency marketers is entering its sixth year and is designed to prepare them for their journey to senior marketing leaders

Headline sponsors for the 2015 programme include; Adobe, British Gas, ITV, Lloyds Banking Group, Microsoft, Mondelez and Marketing Week

“The calibre of marketers in the UK is incredibly high and the proof is in the tough decisions we have had to make in selecting the 30 who comprise the 2015 Marketing Academy Scholarship Programme” says Sherilyn Shackell, Founder of The Marketing Academy.

The Marketing Academy Scholarship Programme is a free, year-long leadership programme for talented rising stars in the worlds of marketing, media and advertising which comprises of mentoring, coaching and experiential learning delivered by the UK’s most successful business leaders, senior marketers and award winning companies.  Each year hundreds of talented individuals compete for the coveted 30 places through a rigorous four stage 6 week selection process.

Sherilyn Shackell added “This is the sixth year for the Scholarship Programme and it’s hugely encouraging that the standard of applicants gets higher each year. This makes the job of selecting the Scholarship incredibly hard as any of the finalists would make worthy Scholars.  Each year we  encourage unsuccessful finalists to apply again in future years and we’re able to offer them additional learning opportunities  including the Magpie Marketing Leadership Course designed and delivered by Scholarship Alumni Sarah Ellis.’’  The 2015 Scholars were revealed at a party hosted by global drinks giant Diageo at which the Academy’s stellar line up of Mentors, Fellows, Coaches and Sponsors also celebrated the graduation of the 2014 cohort.

The Marketing Academy is proud to announce the delegates for the 2015 Scholarship programme.
