Ali Turner-Ghosh, Brand Manager – KFC

Since 2014, Ali Ghosh has been making the Colonel proud as an up-and-coming leader on Kentucky Fried Chicken’s Marketing Team. Currently serving as the Brand Manager, Individual Occasion, Ali leads the strategy, testing and execution of more than 60% of KFC US’s +$4 billion portfolio, including key business layers such as $5 Fill Ups, Beverages, Sandwiches, Snacking, and breakthrough innovation. Most recently, Ali has led the testing of KFC’s Beyond Fried Chicken, the first plant-based fried chicken in QSR powered by Beyond Meat. The one-store August test in Atlanta generated more than 2 billion media impressions and garnered social media shout-outs from Chris Paul, Jermaine Dupri and Snoop Dogg.

Prior to leading the Individual Occasion business, Ali led the launch of KFC’s Zinger Sandwich, which was named the Top Product Launch of 2017 by QSR Magazine. To this day, she can still say she is the first to ever send a chicken sandwich to space (check out the story here).

Before her start with KFC, Ali held several other marketing roles, including roles with Yum! Brands’ Corporate entity, and with the Digital Marketing agency LEAP. At LEAP, Ali led the social strategy for several big-name national brands including AutoZone, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Sun Tan City, and blogging programs for Fruit of the Loom, Texas Roadhouse and Russell Athletic Brands. During her MBA program, Ali also worked at Humana, a Fortune 100 company, in Direct to Consumer Marketing, leading the Direct Mail program for the Medicare Supplement program.

Ali lives in Louisville, KY, with her husband, Robbie, daughter, Molly, and two cats, Calvin & Taco Bell. Ali is a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisville’s MBA program and a 2009 graduate of Ball State University’s School of Journalism.
