Daryl Fielding, CEO – The Marketing Academy Foundation

Daryl Fielding

Daryl is the CEO of The Marketing Academy Foundation and a portfolio director.

Daryl left corporate life in 2015 to enjoy both work and life a lot more and is a Trustee of The British Heart Foundation, board advisor to Nurole and a NED of isobel Advertising. She also regularly writes, speaks, trains and consults on brand building and marketing. Until 2015 she was Director of Brand Marketing at Vodafone UK and prior to that, VP Marketing for Kraft Foods Europe (now Mondelez), controlling a $1 billion ad budget and leading global brand strategies for brands including Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka, Halls, Lu, Tassimo, Cote d’Or and Trident.

A brief spell as Commercial Director of Independent Newspapers during the 2008 financial crisis followed a 20 year career in advertising working for agencies including Ogilvy, Lowe Howard-Spink and BMPDDB. She was responsible for the communication for great brands including Ford, Vauxhall, Weetabix, Sun Alliance and The Leeds Building Society but her agency career highlights were leading the conception and execution of Dove’s ‘Campaign for Real Beauty’ and helping Tony Blair to victory in 1997 by leading The Labour Party’s communication in the General Election.

Daryl now divides her time between homes in London and Dorset, enjoys coaching and mentoring, travelling, opera, scuba-diving and walking along the Jurassic coast.
