Mark Wiedermann, Director, Planning & Inventions ANZ, Frucor Suntory

Mark is a proven leader who brings a high level of energy and passion partnered with a diversity of experiences in both global and local organisations which is the key enabler of his successes to date.

Currently in the role of Director, Planning & Invention ANZ Mark is leading for the future growth of the wider Frucor Suntory organisation with key focuses on Portfolio and Market expansion, Innovation and Sustainability.  Prior to this role he was the Marketing Director for the Australian business looking after a youth focused portfolio of Brands in V Energy Drink, Rockstar, Maximus Sports Drink and Amplify Kombucha to name a few.  In this role he successful developed a high performing Marketing team of 24 and achieved top quartile AON Hewitt engagement scores growing each year from 76% to 86% and a further 88%.

The first 10 years of Mark’s career was spent building a wide spread of experiences across the Coca-Cola system between Coca-Cola Amatil and The Coca-Cola Company.  Initially starting out in Sales and working across multiple different Channels at different levels, it was through this experience he found his true calling in Marketing and Strategy.  Over the next 7yrs Mark was fortunate to work on and lead many significant Brands from Coca-Cola Zero, Mother Energy, VitaminWater and Goulburn Valley.

From an academia standpoint Mark initially completed a Bachelors in Civil Engineering and Business Management before going on to complete his Masters of Business Administration.  Additionally Mark is highly committed to his own personal development which has seen him participate and complete many technical and leadership development programs like the American-Australian Leadership Dialogue and most recently the Suntory Global Leadership Development Program.
