Carter is the VP of Client Leadership at Inspira Marketing. Inspira is an Experiential Marketing Agency with a simple mission: forge indelible connections between brands and consumers.
In his current role, Carter leads the agency’s Activations & Client Service teams through the skills developed over his career. His responsibilities include developing new business strategy, guiding the client service teams to deliver quality experiences and grow organic business, expanding the agency’s capabilities, and leading overall agency operations. As part of expanding agency capabilities, Carter also focuses his time directing an innovation team responsible for research & concept development that will bring the agency into the future of Experience Marketing.
Prior to his current role, Carter led the design, launch, and management of Diageo’ On-Premise Spirits marketing initiative. This field program employed 220 full-time staff across the US conducting promotional and sales support activities aimed at driving distribution and sell-through. The program beat Diageo forecasts for positive return a full year ahead of schedule. Field structure, management, integration, and reporting practices designed by Carter on this program are now the foundational elements utilized across all field campaigns, lending success to Inspira’s clients.
Further back in his career, Carter worked with a wide variety of retail and media entities to create and execute a number of successful large-scale and regional-focused events, including Warner Music Group, Warner Studios, Disney, Fox, Hot Topic, Anchor Blue and General Growth Properties.
